As a field contributor for the 2020 Slow Wine Guide, I spent the early days of this summer in Santa Barbara County. With Slow Wine’s focus on sustainable and organic practices, I had the pleasure of meeting with some of California’s most cutting-edge viticulturists and winemakers with a shared passion for expressing the land through the vine. I even brought my Buddy, my old man-fur baby, allow for the journey. He didn’t care for the wine as much as I did, but he certainly loved the beautiful views.
